TRC HOMESCHOOL STEM PROGRAM

The Missing Piece in Your Homeschool Program

You've built a strong homeschool foundation. Your co-op brings community. Your curriculum covers the essentials. But there's one piece that's hard to replicate at the kitchen table: rigorous, hands-on STEM.

The robotics kits gather dust after a weekend. The science experiments feel more like crafts than real inquiry. And as your students get older, the gap widens—labs require expensive equipment, engineering projects need specialized tools, and physics? It's one thing to read about forces and motion. It's another to build machines that demonstrate them.

Maybe you've wondered:

  • Is my student being challenged enough?
  • Are they building real skills—or just checking boxes?
  • Will they be ready when it matters?

You're not looking to replace what's working.

You're looking for a partner who can fill the gap that's been hard to fill on your own.

We Offer

TRCommunity provides hands-on STEM classes that prepare students for real robotics competitions. Each session builds engineering, coding, and teamwork skills through competition-grade platforms—so students are ready when it counts.

In the fall of 2026, we will offer our first transcript courses for families looking for rigorous STEM classes.

Why Families Choose TRCommunity

  • Competition-Ready Skills — Students learn on the exact platforms used in official FIRST and Robot Drone League competitions.
  • A Clear Pathway — From first build to competition team, we guide the entire journey.
  • Homeschool-Friendly Schedule — Flexible Monday/Thursday classes designed around your family.
  • Small Class Sizes — More hands-on time, more individualized attention.
  • Family Discounts — 10% off your second child, 15% off third and beyond.

Our Vision: Dare to Explore

To be Middle Tennessee's premier homeschool engineering program—where students learn from professional instructors, develop real skills through a complete K-12 pathway, and graduate ready to compete.

Our Mission: Dare Mighty Things

To inspire the next generation through comprehensive engineering education in technology, robotics, and computer science—developing confident problem-solvers who will shape tomorrow's world.

Your Homeschool stem partner

As a homeschool dad, I wanted to add something to my sons' education—rigorous, hands-on STEM that would stretch them in engineering, technology, and physics. The kind of challenge that would prepare them for college and open doors to careers with real options. So I started teaching robotics in our garage. Other families who wanted the same thing joined us. That was 2011.

Today, my sons are thriving. One in Aerospace Engineering and the other in Music Production and Engineering. TRC is now a growing community learning center where homeschool families connect, grow together, and encourage one another—while their students take on real engineering challenges. It's a place where young engineers discover what they're capable of and build the confidence needed to achieve it.

I built TRC because my family needed it. It hasn't been easy but it's worth it.

Now it's here for your family.
