At Tennessee Robotics Center, we're dedicated to providing exceptional STEM education experiences. We understand that plans change, and we've designed this policy to be fair to families while ensuring we can deliver quality programs. Please read this policy carefully before registering for any TRC program.
Effective Date: January 1, 2026
1. Overview
This Cancellation Policy applies to all TRClass session-based programs offered by TRC Education, LLC, d/b/a Tennessee Robotics Center ("TRC"). TRClass programs include TRConstellation sessions and other structured STEM classes offered on a seasonal or session basis.
2. Cancellation Schedule
Refunds are determined by when cancellation notice is received relative to the class start date:
When You Cancel Refund Amount
- 14+ days before class start. Full refund minus $25 admin fee
- 7-13 days before class start 50% refund
- Less than 7 days before class start No refund
- After class session begins No refund
3. Administrative Fee
A $25 administrative fee applies to all cancellations eligible for a full refund. This fee covers processing costs and is non-refundable.
4. How to Cancel
- To cancel a TRClass registration, submit a written cancellation request via email to michael@trceducation.com.
- Include the student name, class name, session dates, and reason for cancellation.
- Cancellation requests are not considered received until confirmed by TRC in writing.
5. Refund Processing
Approved refunds are processed within 5-7 business days. Funds are returned to the original payment method within 7-14 business days depending on your financial institution.
6. Transfers
As an alternative to cancellation, you may transfer your registration to a different class session or to another student. Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before the original class start date. A $25 transfer fee applies. Transfers are subject to availability.
7. Store Credit Option
As an alternative to a refund, you may choose TRC Store Credit. Store credit is issued at full value with no administrative fee deducted, never expires, is transferable to another family, and can be used for any TRC program including classes, camps, competitions, and merchandise.
8. Missed Classes
Missed individual class sessions within an active registration are not refunded, credited, or transferable. We encourage families to attend all scheduled sessions to get the most from their registration.
9. TRC-Initiated Cancellations
If TRC cancels a class due to low enrollment, instructor unavailability, facility issues, or safety concerns, you will receive a full refund (including all fees), transfer to another class, or store credit with a bonus 10% added. TRC will notify you as soon as possible, typically 5-7 days before the start date.
10. Weather-Related Closures
TRC follows Rutherford County Schools for weather closures. If a class session is cancelled due to weather, a make-up session will be scheduled when possible. If a make-up cannot be scheduled, pro-rated credit will be issued.
11. Behavioral Removal
If a student is removed from a class due to violations of the TRC Code of Conduct, disruptive or dangerous behavior, or failure to follow safety rules, no refund will be issued. The TRC Code of Conduct is available at TennesseeRoboticsCenter.com.
12. Changes to Policy
TRC reserves the right to modify this policy at any time. The current version will always be available on our website. Registration for any TRClass program constitutes acceptance of this Cancellation Policy.

By registering for any TRC program, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy. This policy is subject to change, and the most current version will always be available on our website and provided at registration.
Registration constitutes acceptance of these terms.
